Mechanical Tensile Testing of Materials |
|
|
It is often necessary to find out the mechanical tensile strength of a given material (e.g. metal, composite, ceramic material, etc.). Rods, sheets, wires etc. can be tested in tensile mode with the PAT equipment and various fastening jigs are available for this purpose. The DFD® testing principle will ensure that the maximum strength is recorded for each test with a minimum standard deviation in the results. Tensile clamping jigs are designed for all the different size testing heads ranging from maximum 1kN up to 80kN pull force and the equipment is supplied with both manual or automatic pulling modes. The optional digital logging module gives a range of result measurement recordings.
