Guide Pull Testing of Concrete Coatings and Concrete Materials |
Concrete, concrete coatings and other and concrete materials are pull-tested in tensile mode to
establish the bond or tensile strength. Most specifications require
the use of a Ø50mm (2 inch) disc (test element) glued to the
concrete surface. Other standards specify the smaller Ø20mm
test element.
Tensile Pull Testing can either be done manually or automatically. Some of the testing standards emphasize that the speed of tensile force increase has to be constant and within specified minimum and maximum values and also consistent from test to test. In these cases the automatic testing machine is the ideal choice. The following adhesion testing models are available: 1) Manual testing
2) Automatic Tensile Pull Testing
